More than a dozen people were injured Monday when an MTA bus smashed into a brownstone in Brooklyn, officials said.
The crash occurred around 2 p.m. at the corner of Lincoln Road and Bedford Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, authorities said.
The bus driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, hopped the curb while heading southbound on Bedford Avenue and struck the building, which was vacant, according to police.
Fire officials said 14 passengers, including the driver, were treated for minor injuries.
The bus also crashed into a pickup truck and authorities at the scene said three passengers inside were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, as well.
The city’s Department of Buildings has been notified.
