According to a National Transportation Safety Bureau team examining United Airlines flight 328, which was forced to make an emergency landing Saturday shortly after takeoff from Denver International Airport, found that the damage to the Pratt & Whitney engine that failed during the flight was “consistent with metal fatigue.”
