Brooke Shields is learning to walk again.
Over the weekend, the “Suddenly Susan” star shared a video on Instagram of herself taking tentative steps on crutches in a hospital hallway.
“Broke my femur,” she wrote alongside it. “Beginning to mend. No matter what your challenge is, making a positive choice, for yourself, to move forward. #BeginningisNow.”
In the video the 55-year-old actress can be heard saying to a medical professional while counting her steps, “There’s only 20% weight. The goal is to to bend your knee each time like a little bit, just so you’re not dragging it or hitching up your hip, correct?”
Celebs pals like Sharon Stone, Glenn Close, Helena Christensen and Jennifer Beals all commented with their support on the post.
Shields did not reveal how she broke her femur and her rep did not get back for comment.
